Philosophy in prison

Being in a prison does not always mean imprisonment. Although the jail is the place where someone’s physical freedom is taken, the mind cannot be taken. Those who have become custom to reading and thinking consider the prison as a place that provides rest for their bodies while their minds are swimming in the universe of philosophy and knowledge.  This was a summary of what  Damon Horowitz said in his speech titled “ Philosophy in prison“. However, in my opinion, life is like a dream that differs from one person to another. Two people, sometimes, sleep on the same bed; one of them has a beautiful dream, while the other has a miserable one. That difference may occur according to the way that people look at the life. Some of them are optimistic and see everything in a positive way. Other ones are pessimistic and look at things in the negative way.
